Our 4/5 class went on a field trip to the Connecticut River Museum on Wednesday. Mr. Borden described the trip as, "Incredible!" The class participated in multiple activities including mapping, historical research, and creative role playing. The group had lunch aboard the schooner The Mary E and the kids saw the basics of how a sailing vessel functions, while looking at some plant and animal life in the river. It sounds like a great trip for all! Thank you to our parent and grandparent chaperones who accompanied Mr. Borden and the 4/5 classroom on the trip!
